The Verso Altima Group is organizing a conference "Are You Cyber Protected?" The purpose of the conference is to clarify the differences between Security Operation Center and Cyber Defense, introduce the latest solutions that prevent various attacks and present potentials of well established Cyber Defense Centers.  

With the conference main theme “Are You Cyber Protected?” the Verso Altima Group brings participants the opportunity to explore the latest trends and legal requirements for information security, covering all segments that will help redefine the concept of information security and achieve outstanding business performance.

Participants will learn all about best practices, insights into real business cases, and being a part of the cyber security journey.

Ivica Gašparić, CTO, Verso Altima Group

Ivica Gašparić is the Chief Technology Officer at the Verso Altima Group. With more than 20 years of experience in the telecommunications business where he has gone through all the challenges from engineers, data network experts to solution architects, he is systematically working to improve user experiences. As the CTO, he is responsible for defining the Group's technical strategy, innovation management and business consulting focused on long-term sustainable development. Thanks to strong interpersonal skills, Ivica promotes the success of users with the ability to identify, analyze and initiate the solution of complex problems. Helping customers in the process of digital transformation brings the highest value from the use of services while ensuring proper and timely delivery. As an advisor, Ivica advises on how advanced technologies enable the solution of complex problems - with special emphasis on the development of practical and advanced solutions in which economics, technology and sustainability intertwine. He holds an Executive MBA diploma from Cotrugli Business School and he is a regular speaker at key ICT events in the region and as a leader in his field provides users with a deep understanding of implementing solutions and navigation through functionalities. 

Danijel Cerovečki, Head of Cyber Defense Center and Head of Network Technologies Department, Verso Altima Group

Danijel Cerovečki is the Head of Cyber Defense Center and Head of Network Technologies Department at Verso Altima Group. Driven by his 15 year’s self-motivated persistence in acquiring knowledge and competences to expand his skill set and develop further opportunities, Danijel acquired vast experience and knowledge in network and system security, networking technologies, IoT, Lawful Intercept and people management skills. As Head of two departments, Danijel’s role is to coordinate teams of highly trained experts, resources, service providers and liaise with other departments and customers to ensure daily operations, quality of provided service and project delivery. Danijel holds a Masters Degree In Electrical Engineering as well as multiple industry certificates like Cisco CCIE Security (#62223), Cisco Professional, Associate and specialist certifications and others.

Danijela Marijanović, Head of Cybersecurity, Hrvatska pošta

Danijela Marijanović is the Head of Cybersecurity Team at Croatian Post. She works on development of information security and manages security of digital environment. She is responsible for defining and leading the strategy of a secured Croatian Post’s virtual space with adequate security controls implemented. Prior to starting this position in February 2020, Danijela was an executive officer at Eko Taxi for more than 5 years. During that period she was one of the initiators in adapting the business for the purpose of digital transformation and usage of advanced technologies. Upon completion of studies at Faculty of electrical engineering and computing in Zagreb she worked as a database administrator at KING ICT.

Jakov Kiš, Senior Technician, Incident Handling Team, Croatian National CERT, CARNET

Jakov Kiš, Senior Technician in the Incident Handling Team within the Croatian National CERT (CARNET). He has a master's degree from the Faculty of Political Science, majoring in National Security. He has been working in CARNET since 2019 and joined the National CERT department in 2021. Since he majored in National Security he decided to join the National CERT team that deals with cyber security at the national level. Besides incident handling he is included in security awareness activities.

Igor Gregurec, Business Development Manager for Information Security and Data Privacy, Verso Altima Group

Igor Gregurec works as the Head of Business Development for Information Security and Data Privacy in the Verso Altima Group. He gained his professional experience with a strong focus on information security and business management in leading Croatian companies. Igor graduated in 2000 from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing in Zagreb, where he also completed his postgraduate studies in management in 2006. Igor has certificates CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CGEIT, ISO 22301 LI, PMP in the field of information security, IT management and project management and CAP in the field of business process management.

Ali Carl Gülerman, Chief Executive Officer, Radar Cyber Security

Ali Carl Gülerman has over 20 years of experience as a senior executive in the IT sector. He managed projects on the topics of Big Data and Digital Transformation. Gülerman was managing director of Inforte Inc., a New York stock exchange listed company, as well as Business & Decision Germany (part of French BI company ). In his previous roles he successfully established international go-to-market and growth strategies for several leading professional service and IT companies. Gülerman studied Industrial Engineering at Technical University Berlin and Economics and Business at Stanford University in California.
